Yapta is now making its airfare alerts available via Twitter!  Current Yapta users can opt-in to the Twitter feed by simply entering their Twitter username on the "Yapta Settings" page.  From that point forward, any flight Yapta "tracks" on behalf of the traveler will generate a "tweet" (a Twitter message) if the price drops or if the traveler becomes eligible for an airline travel credit. Of course, Yapta will also issue an email alert – as always.

Havingthe option to receive airfare alerts through Twitter will only enhanceyour ability to capture perishable savings.  Airfare prices are highlyvolatile – so Twitter is a terrific way to get immediate pricing updates on specific flights,enabling you to act fast and get the best deal on airfare before theopportunity expires.
