Morespecifically, some airlines have implemented stiffer "change fees". As a helpful guide, here’s an updatedsnapshot of the various fees associated with obtaining a voucher (domestic flights):

MidWest… No charge within 7 days of purchase / $100 after 7 days
United… No charge
