Attention Delta and Frontier travelers:
Some of your fellow Yapta community members have brought it to our attention that Delta and Frontier have both made some changes to their policies, as expressed in their contracts of carriage (these are the rules that each airline creates and which govern your customer relationship with them).
Changes to Delta’s policies (as of August 2007):
•Change fee for domestic flights: $75
•Change fee for international flights: $200
Change to Frontier’s policies (as of August 2007):
•Change fee: $100
What does it all mean?
When Yapta alerts you that you’re eligible for a travel credit (or in some cases, a refund), the dollar amount in the email you receive already accounts for any change fees that the airline may assess when you call to re-book at the lower fare.
We’ve already updated our alert system to reflect these changes, so you’ll receive accurate price drop alerts. Here’s a quick overview of the policies for all airlines you can tag with Yapta:
